Introduction

There are many such creatures on this earth, which cannot come in contact with humans. Creatures living in dense forests and living in deep seas, remote snowy mountains, deserts, and poles do not come into contact with humans.

When a man reads books about the fauna of all these areas, he is unable to reach those places to see those creatures, so many wild animals and birds have been arranged in the modern era. A special place is made which is called a zoo.

Zoo Management

The management of the zoo comes under the Forest Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. Here a favorable environment has to be created for the different creatures of the world. Animals from cold countries and warm regions have to make artificial arrangements so that they can live in their favorable climate.

The staff here arrange food for each animal according to their requirement or nature. Fierce animals roam freely here, but due to the deep moat around them, they cannot reach us.

Foods are provided for grass-eating animals and meat-eating animals. The birds are given the same type of feed as they are used to eating. There are many employees posted there for all such arrangements.

Zoo Site

Zoo in Delhi is located on Mathura Road. Nearby is the old fort, which is called the Fort of Pandavas. We wanted to go there for a long time. This year we went to visit the zoo with some of our friends during the autumn vacation of Dussehra. Where we enjoyed seeing many animals and birds.

Different Divisions of Animals

The entire zoo is divided into several departments of fauna. On entering the zoo, first, there are lush green gardens in which people rest, then, later, grass-eating creatures like deer, nilgai, etc. These are non-violent creatures who are afraid of seeing human beings.

After that comes the Department of aquatic creatures. Adequate provision of water has been made for the aquatic creatures. There are long ponds of water in which ducks, cranes, herons, etc. are seen. There are many creatures that live in water as well as on land. Big crocodiles and alligators are also seen swimming there. Among aquatic creatures, there are also hippopotamuses, which are huge in body and can live both in water and on land.

There is a separate department for birds living on trees and flying in the sky, in which colorful birds from all over the world live. The most attractive of the wild animals is the rhinoceros, which has a horn above its nose. It is huge in size and is a non-violent animal that eats grass.

We also saw a kangaroo in the zoo, which has a pouch in its stomach, in which it keeps its child and jumps far and wide. There a separate department has been made for monkeys and langurs. Black monkeys, red monkeys, monkeys of different colors, and langurs all over the world speak in their own voice. Light up the atmosphere with their voice.

Terrible and Violent Creatures

After some time we move into the department of terrible flesh-eating creatures. Today we got an opportunity to see different kinds of animals like lions, bears, panthers, etc. Different colors and types of lions and cheetahs were seen in the huge iron cages, which were making the environment frightening with their roar.

There we saw white lions and leopards, many colors of bears, and different types of tigers. Somewhere there was a ditch for the terrible lion, which we had seen from afar. The most fascinating of all these things was the orangutan. We had read about the orangutan in the book and that it is also a limb like a man.

Conclusion

Only wild animals entertain us in the zoo. Wild animals are of great importance to human life. Today, agricultural land and cities are being settled by cutting forests. Along with the destruction of forests, wild animals are also getting destroyed. Even in the zoo, we will be able to see the animals only when the animals have real existence in the forests, so today the intellectuals of the world should pay attention to the conservation of human forests and animals. We should always ask questions on our part that wild animals should be protected and they should be encouraged in the wild. Wild animals are also friendly animals to man.
