India is the richest culture in the world, where people who follow different religions and speak different languages live together. Despite being a huge country, India is a huge cultural confluence site with diverse customs and beliefs. In today’s time, even though we are becoming modern, we still continue to maintain our moral principles and continue to celebrate traditional holiday functions. We respect and admire Indian culture a lot. That is why epic texts like Mahabharata and Ramayana are still alive.

Major Features Of Indian Culture

Religious Belief

India, where people of different religions reside together and all have deep faith in their respective religions. As a result, Indian culture, society, literature, politics, economy, and art establish deep relations.

It has been widely seen that religion is an integral part of Indian culture, and India’s language, art, literature, dance, music, and sculpture are all influenced by religion in some form or another. Religious influence has been accepted in everything, from the development of laws of a country to personal construction, traditional practices, and habits of ethnic groups. Despite India being a huge country, people of different religions here are associated with their different cultures. It is a country where different languages are spoken in different parts of society. People are usually different in customs, dress, social beliefs, and food. The various religions of the country are Hindu, Muslim, Jesus, Sikh, Jain and Jews. Along with various religious festivals, we also celebrate some national festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, etc.

In Indian culture, tolerance and generosity are found for all castes, religions, and communities, which are fundamental aspects of Indian culture. India allowed many cultures to flourish. Many religions here are peacefully co-existence, and all religions are given equal respect. The culture here respects the complexity of reality, including behavior, diverse approaches, rituals, and institutions.

The most important aspect of Indian culture is diversity. This diversity, includes Urdu culture, Islamic culture, Persian culture, and English culture. There are many reasons for this diversity, such as some cultures came from abroad, while some cultures emerged in India itself. It is the diversity of Indian culture that displays its ancient brightness and glory, which makes it unique throughout the world.

India is one of the various countries, where different communities related to different cultures, languages, religions, and tribes live and each community follows different beliefs and traditions. Despite such different diversity, people have a sense of ‘unity in diversity’ and ‘we’.
