A long time ago, an alone elephant came to settle in a strange forest. This forest was new to him, and he was looking to make friends.
He first approached a monkey and said, “Hello, monkey brother! Would you like to be my friend? The monkey said you cannot swing like me because you are very big, so I cannot be your friend.
After this, the elephant went to a rabbit and asked the same question. Rabbit said you are too big to fit in my den, so I cannot be your friend.
Then the elephant went to the frog living in the pond and asked the same question. The frog replied to him, you are too heavy to jump as high as me, so I cannot be your friend. Now the elephant was really depressed because he could not make friends despite many efforts.
Then, one day, seeing all the animals running around in the forest, the elephant asked a running bear what is the reason behind this disturbance.
The lion said, the lion of the forest has gone out on the hunt – they are running to save themselves from him. In such a situation, the elephant went to the lion and said please do not hurt these innocent people. Please leave them alone.
The lion made fun of him and asked the elephant to move aside. Then the elephant got angry and pushed the lion with all his strength, which injured him, and ran away.
Now all the other animals slowly came out and started rejoicing over the defeat of the lion. He went to the elephant and said, “Your size is perfect to be our friend!”

One day the elder brother decided that he would go to the nearby forest and bring some wood which he would later sell in the market for a few cents.
As soon as he went to the forest, he cut a lot of trees, then cutting one tree after another, he stumbled upon a magical tree.
In such a situation, the tree said, please, Sir, please do not cut my branches. If you leave me, I will give you a golden apple. He agreed at that time, but greed arose in his mind. He threatened the tree that if he did not give him more apples, he would cut off the entire torso. In such a situation, instead of giving the apple to the elder brother, he showered hundreds of needles on it. Due to this, the elder brother started crying on the ground in pain.
Now the day slowly started to build up, while the younger brother started worrying. So he went to the forest in search of his elder brother. He found the elder brother in pain near the tree, which had hundreds of needles on his body. He had pity in his mind, he reached his brother, and slowly removed every needle with love.
The elder brother was watching all these things and he was getting angry at himself. Now the elder brother apologized to the younger brother for mistreating him and promised to get better. The tree saw the change in the elder brother’s heart and gave him all the golden apples that he was going to need later.

4. Story of Lion and Rat

His roar was heard far away. While the rat was passing by the nearby road and when he heard the roar of the lion, he realized that the lion was in trouble. As soon as the rat approached the lion, he immediately started munching the trap with his sharp teeth, and due to this the lion became free in a while and thanked the rat. Later, both went together towards the forest.

5. The story of the woodcutter and the golden axe
Once upon a time, there was a woodcutter near the forest. He used to collect wood in the forest and sell them in the nearby market for a little money.
It was a matter of one day that he was cutting a tree when it happened that his axe accidentally fell into a nearby river. The river was very deep and was flowing really fast – he tried very hard to find his axe but he could not find it there. Now he felt that he had lost the axe, while unhappy, he sat on the bank of the river and wept.
Hearing the sound of his cry, the lord of the river woke up and asked the woodcutter what happened. The woodcutter told him his sad story. The God of the river took pity on that woodcutter and offered to help him by seeing his hard work and truth.
He disappeared into the river and brought back a golden axe, but the woodcutter said it was not his. He disappeared again and this time he came back with a silver axe, but this time also, the woodcutter said that this axe does not belong to him either. Now the lord of the river vanished again into the water and this time he came back with an iron axe – seeing the wooden axe the woodcutter smiled and said that it was his axe.
The lord of the river, impressed by the sincerity of the woodcutter, presented him with both axes of gold and silver.
