Preface
The train has an important place in land traffic. In our country, the whole country has been connected by rail lines. I had traveled many times by bus but I never got the opportunity to travel by train. I traveled by train for the first time during summer vacation. This journey was the most memorable journey of my life because what I experienced was never done in any other journey.
Rajasthan Visit
My father is a government employee. They get a holiday travel exemption from time to time which is called L.T.C. Every Government servant travels on L.T.C from time to time. Last summer vacation, my father made a program to go to Rajasthan on L.T.C. On this occasion, we planned to go to Rajasthan by train journey. This was my first train journey.

Start of Journey
On the 10th of May, we started at the railway station of Gujarat from home during the summer vacation. Taking our essentials, we reached the railway station by taxi. Our train had to be parked on platform number 8. We sat on the bench waiting for our train on platform number 8.
Our train was supposed to leave for Rajasthan at 6:00 am, but it was told by the sound broadcaster that the train going to Rajasthan will depart from delay for one hour today. We again started roaming here and there on our platform. To wait till 7:00 pm and began to study the newspaper.
A variety of shops are available on the platform. Letters, magazines, and bookseller shops, fruit shops, food shops, etc. I bought a magazine ‘Parag’ and ‘Nandan’ to read on the train. At 7:00, the train reached platform number 8 while chucking.
Travel Experience
We already had a reservation. In our reserved compartment, we sat on our pre-determined seats. Like us, other passengers also started taking their seats in that compartment. There were still 10 minutes left for the train departure. I came out and looked at the general compartment. I was stunned to see the crowd there.
The guard rang the city and flagged off. I immediately ran to my compartment and went to my seat. The train left the station in Gujarat, touching it slowly. Seeing that hustle and bustle of the Gujarat railway station, it disappeared from my sight.
The train was moving at its own speed. I was sitting by the window of the train enjoying the scenery outside. All kinds of scenes were coming to the fore and immediately seeing the vision, they used to hide behind and run away. Each scene is as if playing a game of eyeballs with me.
I found my first train journey very enjoyable. I found the scenery outside to be very mesmerizing. We were just passing in front of swaying green fields. In an instant, a city of beautiful buildings appeared. At one moment we were in the city and at the other moment we reached the forest.
I had never seen so much diversity in such a short time. Our train reached Rajasthan the next morning, crossing big cities, rivers, and forests. On the way, we had food and snacks on time. My mother also brought many other items to eat on the way.
At the End of the Journey
Our train had reached our destination. After the train had stopped well, we got down with our luggage. The porter picked up our luggage. There was the same movement on the platform as it was in Gujarat. There were also announcements about the arrival of trains. The tea sellers, and the breakfast vendors, were coming in front and forcing them to buy their goods.

The porter brought our luggage off the platform. We first looked for a guide because we did not have a good knowledge of the city of Rajasthan and immediately a guide came to us. We informed him about all our plans, then he guided Rajasthan. Our train has stopped here.
Conclusion
My first train journey was an unforgettable event in my life. Train travel is a very enjoyable journey. The number of trains has increased a lot in our country but there has been no reduction in the crowd. The crowd has increased day by day. Our government should improve the railway system and increase the number of railroads.
